Looking for a local Swimming School to master your technique?

This program is an extension of our School Aged program. As your child progresses and masters various skills, they’ll eventually move on to this program. At this point, we believe that your child will have the confidence and ability of a competent swimmer. Through this program, we’ll prepare the swimmer for a more competitive environment to join our Squads. Learn to swim competently in all fours strokes. SGAC Swimming school provides programs all year round including holiday intensive programs.

There are three levels to this class:

  • Swordfish
  • Seal
  • Dolphin

 

Class Summary

  • Focuses on correcting and refining technique in order to move onto the competitive program
  • Will master the competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly
  • Endurance will be needed as swimmers are expected to a swim a minimum of 50m (2 laps of our pool)

To ensure your child gets the most from their lesson, we recommend you bring;

  • Swimming costume
  • Towel
  • Dry, warm clothing to change into
  • Hair bands for students with long hair
  • Goggles (not compulsory but strongly recommended)
  • Swimming Caps (optional)
  • Aqua Nappies (compulsory for children under 3 or not toilet trained)
  • Water bottle

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early for your lesson, to reduce delays at reception and ensure your child is relaxed and ready to learn.

Through our Online Member Portal, you will be able to mark your absence and book your make up lesson.

You can do this in 5 easy steps:

  1. Login to your member portal
  2. Select your class booking
  3. Select ‘Mark Absent’
  4. Select ‘Book Make-Up’
  5. Confirm
