Men’s Gymnastics Blog

Congratulations to Josh De-Roo and Geordie McColl who have been selected to represent Australia at the New Zealand National Championships in Tauranga New Zealand Octover 3-8 2019. We are extremely proud of these boys, who have trained hard, contribute to their much loved sport and always lead by example. We are sure they will do themselves and SGAC very proud. Well done boys and GO AUSTRALIA!!!

The SGAC Mens Competitive program will take a small contingent to the Gold Coast to represent the club in 4 Divisions at the 2018 Mens National Club Championships. This event is well represented by most Mens Gymnastic clubs from around Australia. We look forward to some good results and to use this competition as a great start for preparation for the coming year ahead.

2019 SGAC Mens Gymnastics Program Calendar

In consultation with all our MG coaches and judges, we have completed a draft calendar for the coming year which will see some exciting new events, initiatives and competitions for all our competitive athletes. We would love to see you all involved in some capacity, so if you would like to volunteer your time to assist in the running of some of our events, please drop us an email.

Welcome (back) Riccardo Maturo!

We welcome Riccardo to our full time staff. For those who are yet to meet Riccardo, he comes from Naples Italy and brings with him years of experience as an elite athlete and coach. He will be assisting Brett with our Squad 1-3 boys, as well as contributing to the growth and development of our lower levels, the heart of our program. …. you may even see him competing for SGAC in the Masters division in the coming year!.

The success of our program also relies on the contribution of those willing to volunteer and assist with events, or even become a coach or a judge. Should you be interested, let Brett know and stay tuned for information on SGAC coach and judge information events.
