SGAC’s Fitter of Life program is aimed at helping over 55’s improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. There are two types of classes:

Our pools provide a fitness environment for all ages or ability levels. The ability to swim is not required for you to enjoy our classes!
Gentle Gym is a great way to boost your physical and mental activity!
This program caters for people of all abilities and mobility. It focuses on key skills to assist with everyday activities, falls prevention and overall physical wellbeing.
It can help with the following everyday activities:
Gentle Gym is great for your physical health also has great mental health benefits, as it introduces you to new people in the community, challenges your memory, concentration and coordination, and gives you an overall feeling of accomplishment!
ALL participants MUST complete a Pre-Screen questionnaire before commencing.
Casual Entry & Visit Passes
Casual entry to class sessions is available subject to you registering in the Fitter for Life program. Registration is $25 and covers the annual Gymnastics Registration.
You will then be provided with a member login to book your class sessions. Your login will be the email address you registered with SGAC.
Casual Entry – $10 per class
4 visit Pass $35.00 – 1 month expiry
8 visit pass $70 – 3 month expiry
If injury occurs during one of our Gentle Gym lessons, our registration includes insurance.
